COVID-19 and the DRC
-Measures taken to remain open-
Physical environment:
Touchless check-in.
Facility doors will be kept open where possible for touchless entry.
Racquetball and pickle ball players should bring their own equipment.
Per social distancing guidelines, capacities for the following areas within the DRC will have a maximum capacity.
Studio D: 18
Studio R: 30
Studio C: 30
Cycle Studio: 15
Kid’s Club: 15
These capacities will be relaxed as social distancing guidelines change.
Social Distancing:
Equipment spaced to enable social distancing.
More classes in gymnasiums.
Marked floors in guest services area.
Reduced class sizes and fitness instructors will help with spacing in group fitness areas.
Health and Safety:
Masks are to be worn according to the DRC Mask Policy.
Increased number of disinfecting stations.
Extra nightly cleaning with disinfecting fog machine.
Members will be asked to clean equipment before and after use.
Extra staff for added cleaning duties.

Member Code of Conduct:
Maintain a 6 foot distance from anyone not in your family
Disinfect equipment before and after use
Stay home when sick – no fevers over 100.4 degrees, excessive coughing, sneezing or other symptoms of illness
Wash your hands often and avoid touching your face
Members may wear masks if desired
We ask that you use the locker rooms (starting June 8), water fountains, and restrooms at your discretion and do not linger.
The staff recommends that you keep your gym time to 2 hours or less as much as possible.
DRC MASK POLICY:
The DRC will require face masks when entering, exiting, and traveling throughout DRC facilities and while participating in activities and programs where social distancing is not possible.
Exemptions to wearing a mask:
• Children under the age of 5 and those with medical conditions, mental health conditions or disabilities that prevents them from wearing a mask.
• When any individual is actively engaging in the following activities:
o Exercising and or using fitness equipment
o When actively participating in group exercise classes
o Playing recreational and organized sports in gyms or courts
o Swimming, using aquatic facilities, or showering
Masks are required during outside activities or programs when social distancing is not possible.
We cannot completely eliminate the potential spread of illness.
